I have a Dell Inspiron 5559 laptop with an Intel Core i5 6200U CPU running at 2.3 GHz. I’m looking to overclock it. Here are my questions:
1-Can I increase the clock speed? If yes, what steps should I follow?
2-Which power supply is safe for this modification?
3-Will overclocking improve performance?
4-Will doing this affect my warranty?

you shouldn't do this. you won't see much of a performance gain if any at all. you will void your warranty. you shouldn't tweak the power on a laptop, ever.
sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear.

You shouldn't attempt this. There will likely be no significant improvement in performance. Doing so may cancel your warranty. Avoid adjusting the power settings on a laptop at all.
Sorry, that might not be the message you were expecting.

Many laptops struggle to maintain their processors at maximum performance for long periods due to overheating. Additionally, the other parts aren't built to manage the extra heat and power from overclocking.
