Be mindful that BIOS updates might significantly influence overclocking. There could be other factors affecting your overclock, leading to a drop in frequency from 5GHz to 4.9GHz. Have you reviewed the BIOS settings and temperatures, including VRM temperatures? Which motherboard are you using?
