Overclocking Issue

I'm working with an I7 9700k at 5ghz across all cores at 1.330v. It operates smoothly at 60°C under full load. The issue I face is that after turning off the computer overnight and restarting, the CPU clock drops to 4.9ghz on all cores. I've verified the BIOS settings and confirmed the AVX offset remains at 0. Can someone assist me with this?

Don't lower the clock speed too much below 4.9 GHz on 5GHz. It's not necessary to remove the battery, just feels strange. I'm curious if this was a glitch from updating the BIOS and applying an outdated profile or something different.

How did you enhance the CPU performance? Was it done through BIOS settings or a Windows application? Did the motherboard's BIOS receive the most recent update?

The overclock is set up in the BIOS, and it seems to be the most recent BIOS release. The computer was assembled last month and all its components were updated to the newest version.

Check if the CPU is being locked at the specified voltage or if an automatic adjustment is in place. Determine the stability tests conducted to verify system stability at that voltage and frequency.

This approach works well. Saving the BIOS settings into a profile and then resetting the CMOS will give you the desired effect.

The core voltage remains fixed at 1.330v. Testing with CineBench R20 and Ada64 confirmed stable temperature, CPU load, and voltage levels.

It seems you should remove the CMOS battery and begin the overclock again, as only a few adjustments are necessary.
