I've been exploring overclocking to make my CPU more future-proof, and I'm curious about the best type of cooler for this. Since it's hot here in the Philippines, I'm wondering if choosing a Hyper 212 or Cryorig H7 versus an AIO liquid cooler really matters for keeping my CPU running well when I push it to higher speeds?

for moderate overclocking a good air cooler around sixty dollars will suffice
previously noted cryorig h7 or shute ninja 4 would work just fine
if you desire a top-tier noctua cooler consider the noctua nh-u14s

you won't find a good watercooler for the cost of cryorig H7.
this is the top budget option available right now, surpassing the Hyper 212.
another excellent choice is the Scythe Ninja 4.

the price won't buy you a good water cooler for cryorig H7, but it's the top budget option available right now, surpassing the Hyper 212. Another solid choice is the Scythe Ninja 4. The main concern isn't cost; I might have chosen more expensive models like the Noctua NH D15, but I just want to confirm whether I should opt for air cooling or water cooling given the high temps and moderate overclocking.
