I'm currently pushing my i7 to higher speeds with the new NZXT Kraken X63 and some liquid metal, but I haven't removed the heatsink just to use thermal grease. I've reached around 4.8GHz and 1.190v, stress testing it for about three hours now. I plan to keep running the test a bit longer to see how it holds up, though I think this overclock is stable enough. I wanted to ask fellow enthusiasts who have more experience, since some are warning these temperatures might be too high while others say they're okay.

Also worth mentioning is that the voltage is at its lowest possible setting—1.185v during stress test for nine hours without issues—but when I stopped and opened Firefox, it blue-screened.

Should I try pushing it to 4.9GHz? I'm not sure if I can go beyond 5GHz.

Unless you're constantly pushing your system beyond AIDA64's limits, it should be okay. I wouldn't mind running the CPU at those high temperatures, but normal use and gaming usually stay below 75º.
