Hello everyone!
I just purchased a new G752VY with an i7 6820HK @2.7ghz processor.
I’m planning to overclock it to 4.0, since it can be unlocked up to that level.
I think this would work well...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially if others can assist me in unlocking this CPU.
It would really help if people could guide me through the process so more folks can do it easily.
Here are my laptop details:
ASUS G752VY
I7 6820HK 2.7ghz
GTX 980M 8GB
512GB SSD + 2TB HDD
64GB RAM
Windows 10
I’m looking to boost performance because I still notice some frame rate drops while playing high-end games like Syndicat and Witcher 3.

4.0GHz is achieved using Intel XTU. Be aware, though—laptops generally have much less cooling power compared to desktops.

Could you please provide me a guide on OC'ing as I'm not so deep into overclocking...

Google is your friend
But I will say this - it's a laptop and you have no way of controlling heat, so do not touch the voltage. Just raise the multiplier until it's no longer stable.

I don't have a method for forecasting that - wish you success.
