I haven't reached any speed beyond 4.0ghz. My performance stays between 35-38 idle and 45-50 gaming. It seems my PSU might not be enough, though I'm not sure what's causing it. Any advice would be appreciated?
Specs: I5 4690k, Asus z97-A 3.1 Mobo, 8gigz Corsair 1866 RAM, Evga Gtx 960, H50 Corsair AIO cooler, Evo SSD, WD 1T, Corsair cx600 PSU

Sorry for the inconvenience, I had a turbo boost. You have a nice chip, I wish I had one!

Don't assume your PSU is the issue; it might be a faulty chip or an incorrect setup. Check this overclocking guide for more details.

Well then, that's the maximum your chip can handle, good to know. My I5 3570k won't exceed 4.3.

AngelOfDarkness shared their experience with the chip's performance, noting their own I5 3570k's maximum was around 4.3. They mentioned trying turbo boost initially but stopped after reaching 4.7 due to concerns.
