Hey there, I have a Gigabyte P57 i76700HQ with 16GB RAM, a NVidia Gtx 970m, and 256GB storage. I’m seeing significant lag in games, frame drops, and it’s not just on poorly optimized titles. I was wondering if it’s safe to overclock the laptop or if it’s better to leave it as is. I’m new to this, so I’d appreciate any advice or software recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Generally, raising temperatures tends to go up when you overlock them, particularly if you do it frequently since you need to boost the voltage. It's not advisable to overlock a laptop as cooling systems usually aren't enough.
