Hi Guys,
I'm working on fixing my old and weak fx-6350. When I try to change its settings through the BIOS, my PC won't boot properly and it shows some UEFI warnings. No matter how small the changes are, it doesn't work. I'm planning to upgrade to Ryzen soon, but right now the game performance is really slow with this fx. Any advice would be great!

The forums show many problems from boards with more than four VRM units experiencing issues with 125w CPUs. The most frequent problem is VRM throttling even when running at full speeds. A 4+1 configuration might work in theory, but it often causes real-world difficulties.

Since the boards are weak for VRM, it's good news that a 125w CPU runs normally at its default speed.

I saw that the vrm's aren't the top choice, but is it truly that bad? The cooling process seems quite problematic.
