Overclocking FX 4330 on Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 card slot
Hi everyone, my pc configuration:
cpu: Amd fx 4330 (95w, 4000 mhz, http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/...-4330.html)
gpu: Gtx 750 ti
mem: 8gb
mb: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 ver. 5
psu: Corsair 450W
I think i can get more perfomance on ~4400mhz. Can i overclock cpu on this motherboard? I need to know optimal voltage and settings - Bios Award.
It's a 4+1 power phase, which means you won't be able to increase the voltage much without running into problems. 4.4Ghz should still work fine. Search for "overclocking FX CPU" on Google—there are plenty of tutorials available.

My bios configurations:
CPB turned off, Multipiler set to x22, Vcore voltage at 1.4250v.
Advanced Bios Features: Cool'n'Quiet disabled, AMD APM disabled, C6 disabled.
Completed a 15-minute prime95 test – temperatures remained stable despite the cooler, with two copper tubes and a 120mm fan.
Performance was excellent, achieving nearly 20% improvement at a low cost. This should be useful for others.
Re-enable cool & quiet, turning off bitbus somewhat unnecessary. You might achieve this clock with lower voltage, I'm sure.
