Hi everyone, I fricked up. I was trying to overclock my ram when everything just shut off(When I clicked save and Exit) , my PC didn't post after that. I have tried changing ram slots and resetting cmos, I also tried bios flashing but no luck. Pc Specs: Ryzen 5 5600g Rtx 3060ti 16gb corsair 3200mhz ram 1 tb samsung ssd Gigagyte Aorus B550i Pro AX (rev 1.1) motherboard PowerSupply: EVGA SuperNOVA 550 GM ECO Mode with DBB Fan 123-GM-0550-Y1 Now Exactly whats happening. 1. Everything connected - I turn on the power switch of the power supply everything turns on, mobo lights turn on (2 blue static lights under the 24pin connector), AIO starts running (water flow and fans work, but without the RBG). PSU fan doesnt spin. - nothing happes no post on screen. and I tried fios Q-flash, that is not working as well. 2. Only Mobo, 24 pin connector and 8pin cpu connector + Bios USB - Turn on the power switch same two lights on mobo, and nothing else. - after pressing the Qflash button for 5 sec, no lights or anything changed. It might happen during memory training, particularly after a strong RAM overclock. Keep the computer running for 5–10 minutes with only one stick in slot A2; recovery can take time. If it doesn’t work: reset the CMOS by unplugging the power source, removing the CMOS battery, holding the power button for 30 seconds, waiting more than 10 minutes, then attempting to boot again. Note that a black screen may need a shutdown or reset before retrying. Alternatively, try booting without any RAM—listen for speaker beeps (if available) or check LED indicators for activity. Because Q-Flash Plus isn’t starting, verify the USB stick: it should be FAT32, under 32GB, empty except for the BIOS file, and renamed to GIGABYTE.BIN. Connect it to the white USB port (Q-Flash port). Power supply is on, but don’t press the case power button. Hold the Q-Flash Plus button for 5–10 seconds; a blinking light should appear.
I’ll test these options and let you know what happens. Also, check if the AIO starts without pressing the power button on the case—it’s worth noting whether that’s normal or a concern. Keep trying until you see results.
The mainboard gets backup voltage (5V) immediately after the power supply activates. Certain AIOs and fans start up once 5V is detected, even before the whole system is fully powered.
Hola! Tengo una B550 de un gigabyte también. Sigue estos pasos. Apaga la fuente de alimentación. Retira la RAM y vuelve a insertarla. Enciende la fuente de alimentación. Usa un destornillador para cortar los dos pines en CLR_CMOS. Enciende el PC y espera a que cargue el BIOS, se reiniciará al menos una vez antes de mostrar la pantalla de inicio. I followed these steps: 1. Powered up the PC and left it on for 30 minutes. 2. Repeated the CMOS shorting without success. 3. Attempted the Qflash. Right now I’m worried the system is fully booting up without pressing the power button, even with the GPU active. Could there be a solution before trying other fixes? Also, I noticed that turning on one or two RGB lights on my AI model sometimes works.
