Because I don’t have a backup and there’s no ‘Repair your Computer’ choice, things are really tough for me. I plan to try a DVD or CD tomorrow from a friend who can fix my Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Any advice would be appreciated.

Understanding the details is essential. A G3258 CPU is available on eBay for around £10.

Yes, if I could possibly replace the CPU and if I have the time, I would change it as quickly as possible. Thanks anyway.
