Overclocking Fail Need help!
Overclocking Fail Need help!
I recently increased my AMD 860K to 4.2 GHz without any issues. Now I’m thinking about pushing it further to 6.3 GHz, skipping the voltage boost and using an H7 cooler. I tried adjusting the CMOS jumper positions from holes 1 and 2 to 2 and 3 and back, but the system still powers on. However, the screen, keyboard, and mouse aren’t responding properly. I’m confused about what to do next. Please help me.

Sarcastic imp! This is a very busy forum manned by unpaid volunteers, we can't help everyone inside ten minutes (that's the elapsed time between your two posts).
You want instant help then subscribe to a telephone support service which unlike us, isn't free.

Lol. Message to all future readers. Don't just follow what this person did, particularly on older CPUs.
Going straight to 6.3Ghz without increasing the voltage is a really bad idea.
First of all, it's only with newer CPUs like Skylake that we can reach even 5Ghz, and that requires strong cooling and high voltage.
Also, if you look at how this person tries to overclock and mess with his CPU, I'd say his 4.2Ghz isn't stable and he's probably damaging the system.
