Overclocking details for Asus P6T Deluxe V2 with QPI
I'm trying to optimize my Asus P6T Deluxe V2 again. Last year I achieved a solid 980 in cb15. Now I can only reach around 900, at best. I'm sure I followed everything correctly the previous year. How does QPI affect tuning? Does higher QPI help or hinder it? For my current setup it's at 7200gt, but I think it should drop further, so I keep it on auto. Could anyone clarify what QPI throughput means and how it relates to tuning? Thanks.
Did you opt for CB15 once more or switch to the newest model?
Have any components been upgraded, such as HDDs or SSDs?
Was your Windows updated?
Has your BIOS received a new release?
QPI serves as the link between the northbridge and the CPU. The higher the better, but it shouldn't be changed.

Did you opt for CB15 once more or the newest iteration? Any changes made? HDD, SSD, etc.? Windows was updated? BIOS refreshed? QPI serves as the link between the northbridge and the CPU; maintaining its performance is ideal, though altering it isn't necessary.
