Overclocking CPU using an air cooler
Hello,
your experience sounds interesting. The temperature of 51 degrees with your AIRCOOLER 212LED seems normal for that level of overclocking. The voltage set to auto and not manual is also a common setup. Let me know if you need more guidance!
When you log a temperature reading, mention the software you're using. A temperature of 51 degrees feels warm in a Word document but cool in Prime95. Also, specify the voltage values for each scenario ("it displays 1.105v when I run Prime95 with voltage at auto"). Some motherboard manufacturers automatically increase voltage during overclocking; it might be fine with proper cooling, but always monitor both temperatures and voltages under various conditions if you enable auto mode.
