I have a $70 budget for a solid micro ATX motherboard that can reliably overclock an i7 2600k to 4.1-4.3 GHz. The cooling components are covered, and I’m new to motherboards. Here are some recommendations:

Take a look at what's available in the used market, but often you have limited options.

The second-hand market offers the best option as it features an older CPU, and you can often locate high-quality refurbished components online.

I understand, but details about specific models or reputations aren't clear to me. I don't recall particular CPU and GPU brands, nor do I remember which motherboards are most dependable or well-regarded.

Choose a motherboard featuring the P67 chipset if you don’t need an iGPU, which helps with troubleshooting. For better performance, opt for Z68 or newer Z77 chipsets. Seek a higher-end board—GD-45 and above from Msi, Z77-V, Premium, or Deluxe from Asus—with two heat sinks on the CPU VRM arranged in an L shape. This gives you a solid starting point when browsing used listings.

At that time, Asus had a problem—longer names were worse. Other companies kept using the "bigger is better" approach.
