I recently assembled a PC with a 3070 Ti, i9-12900k, and MSI Pro Z690-A motherboard. Yesterday, I attempted overclocking and suspect I made a mistake. As a result, my PC won’t power on. I’ve reset the CMOS several times but still have no luck. I’m really concerned and don’t know what to do. Could anyone suggest a solution?

I checked the steps commonly shared, but many fail to succeed. Disconnect the power cord from the PC. Remove the CMOS battery and let the system rest for a few minutes before reinserting it. Connecting the battery terminals can help speed things up.

That’s what I did. I set it aside for roughly 7 minutes.

Pressing the power button initiates the device's main functions.

Consider alternative solutions like connecting the front panel power switch pins to bypass the case switch. If unsuccessful, it suggests a faulty motherboard or power supply unit. Which PSU do you own?
