Overclocking assistance and instructions for i5 4690k
I have a Liquid cooler with a 240mm rad, my temperatures are around 65°C at 4.5, 70°C is the hottest (intel XTU, prime95, cinebench) and 4.4 is about 55-60°C with 62°C being the highest. I believe I need too much Vcore at 4.5, so I'm lowering it to 4.4. Do you remember your stock numbers? What was the temperature at stock with the same cooling system?
My stock clocks were roughly 45-50c during benchmarks and 30-35c while gaming.
Sorry, but I got a mild turbo boost so it switched to 4GHz instead of 3.9, but I don't think it made a big difference.
I believe I made a mistake and corrected it, now my i5 4690k is running at 4.6 GHz with a 1.23 Vcore around 60°C using Intel XTU for an hour. I plan to test it for 7-8 hours tomorrow.
