I've overclocked a GPU before but as far as CPUs are concerned, I know nothing of the sort. There's this tool called "Intel Extreme Tuning Utility" however the complexity of the program has kept me from messing with it. If anyone could help me *safely* overclock my cpu without getting into unstable territory I would highly appreciate it. My specs are: Intel core i5 8600k RX 5700 XT 16 GB DDR4 RAM VS 500W PSU B360M DS3H (rev. 1.0)

Hi there! It looks like you're asking about the type of motherboard you're using and whether an Z-series board is needed for overclocking Intel chips. Also, most motherboards come with built-in overclocking options that let you adjust settings easily with just a few clicks.

This motherboard isn't suitable for boosting performance beyond its standard limits—it's a B-series model. Only Z-series boards from Intel allow overclocking.
