Overclocking Amd FX 8320 Black edition
I have adjusted my FX 8320 from version 3.5 to 4.0 using a core voltage of 1.34-1.35. I’ve completed several stress tests consecutively, and the CPU is operating at around 33°C or approximately 90°F. These temperatures and voltages feel quite high, but no blue screens appear after about 30 minutes of stress testing, especially with air cooling. Any advice on lowering it to see if it crashes?
33ºC is fine for idle, but it could be improved. Focus on your temperature during load. Use AMD Overdrive to check the thermal margin, as other software isn't precise with FX CPUs. Consider trying that OC at a lower voltage—currently 1.3125v @4.3Ghz, which allowed 4.0Ghz at 1.275v, but outcomes will differ based on your motherboard, power supply, and CPU quality.

I adjusted to 4.3 with 1.33 and wondered if lowering core voltage a bit would help. It’s currently maxing out at 42 in a stress test.
