Overclocking Amd fx-6350
Overclocking Amd fx-6350
Hello, I'm just starting out in the overclocking scene. I've attempted to boost my CPU before but haven't felt confident doing it. I have an Amd-fx-6350 paired with a Corsair H60 AIO. My current settings are 4.3ghz at 1.35v, and after a four-hour stress test it ran smoothly without freezing. However, when I increased the frequency to 4.4ghz and raised the voltage to 1.36v, the system would freeze after about 10 to 15 minutes during testing. Could someone assist me in identifying the issue? I'm unsure about the right voltage levels or how much CPU speed I can push. I've checked forums but haven't found a clear solution. I want to maximize performance since I use CPU-heavy simulators and my AMD CPU really needs a boost. Please help.
