It won't be as severe as many think, and most players don't notice bottlenecks. Although the GTX 970's performance might be slightly reduced, I don't expect it to cause any major playability problems. Bottlenecks don't always lead to unplayable games; in this situation you might only see a small drop in frames per second, still well above 30 and close to 60 depending on the game.

Rogue Leader:
The situation won't be as severe as people think, many will panic at the bottleneck. Although the GTX 970's performance might be slightly affected, I don't expect it to cause any major playability problems. Bottlenecks don't always mean the game becomes unplayable. In this scenario, you might experience a loss of 10-20 frames per second, but it will still remain well above 30 and close to 60 (depending on the game). I intended to run titles like GTA V and Witcher 3 at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Both titles should work fine on it. You're unlikely to reach 60 fps, but you'll probably get around 40 to 50 fps, which is better than most consoles.
