Overclocking 8600k to 5gh
I overclocked my i5 8600k to 5 gh and I am getting really high temps at idle (around 50 degrees Celsius). When I run Prime 95 to test stability it crashes at anything less than 1.39 V.
And the temps I get after just 4 min of Prime 95 seem really hot to me

I am using kraken x62 for cooling.
This is also my first overclock so there is a decent chance I am doing something wrong. Is there anything I should do that might help with being able to run at 5gh at a lower temp?
Additionally, I'm unable to use Prime 95 for more than three minutes before it crashes. Sorry, I'm not very familiar with this, and I don't know what to do next.
Also after configuring the LLC to & (highest setting), I'm only receiving 1.16 Volts with full load when I adjust the voltage to 1.39V.
That temperature is normal unless you delid.. and 1.16v is pretty low. What's your Motherboard? Some motherboards tend to drop lower as the price goes down from high to low. Make sure you configure the highest LLC settings. My 8700k runs at 5ghz with 1.31v within 75 to 85c. Yeah, it's a bit odd because I set the Volts to be 1.39 but it only stays around 1.16 even when LLC is maxed out.
