Activate PBO and consider it done. Boosting Ryzen chips for everyday use isn’t much of a win because PBO delivers about 97% of the performance you’d expect in any situation. Unless you’re pushing them to the limit for stress tests, stable settings on your 5900X will still outperform manual overclocking by a noticeable margin—especially in Cinebench R23. If you’re serious about fine-tuning, try adjusting the curve optimizer, but be aware it might cause odd crashes when idle. Only go down that route if you really need that extra 5% boost.
