Today I updated my PC's drivers with the Auslogics driver updater tool. After the installation, I lost my mouse cursor. After five minutes trying to recover it, I had to forcefully shut down the computer. Once I turned it back on, a black screen displayed with the message "overclock failed." I entered the BIOS of my Asus Rampage BLACK motherboard but didn’t know what I was doing. I tried launching Windows and encountered a blue screen. I’ve attached a photo of the screen for reference.

List your specifications.
Study the information before attempting an overclock.
Avoid modifying BIOS until you grasp its basics.
Reset BIOS to defaults and consult manuals.
Ignoring these steps may cause lasting harm to your device.

If your default option isn't available, consult your motherboard manual. Look for a visible CMOS button; this will also reset the device to factory settings. It is typically a black button labeled "Clear CMOS" on the board. You can search online using the manual, open the case to check for buttons and identify your motherboard model.
