Hello everyone, I've got a 7700K and think I've done the overclocking right in the BIOS. However, it seems to only reach 3.9GHz under load, similar to gaming and stress tests. When I stop the testing, the CPU briefly hits 4.9GHz. That's odd. What should I investigate?

Review the temperature readings first, as the signature didn't specify the cooling system.

Start HWiNFO to identify throttling causes. Consider raising turbo power settings in the BIOS.
