overclock without going into bios
what are some ways to avoid restarting my pc while loading my stock setup or using my overclocked configuration? are there tools similar to msi afterburner that work for the cpu?
Calnin :
Did your motherboard come with any kind of software before actually downloading that...
Intel offers some overclocking tools. (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/m...ility.html)
No, it didn't, I've just been using the BIOS. Trying the XTU now.

Appreciate the link, it matches exactly what I needed
I'm not sure how to do this, I really don't want to restart my PC just to load my stock setup when I'm not doing certain things or when I have an overclocked configuration. Is there a program I can use, like Msi Afterburner but for the CPU? Yes, my motherboard Gigabyte Gaming 5 Z97 comes with Easy Tune, I can adjust voltage and clock speeds without restarting! Thanks lol I tried Intel's software over a year ago, it worked somewhat to try and get a stable OC.
