I checked the latest discussions about the Ryzen XT lineup. It seems the claim that it’s just an overclock of base models isn’t fully accurate—some versions do offer better performance than their standard counterparts. Whether you can turn a 3700X into a 3700XT with overclocking depends on your setup and the specific BIOS settings. For the 3700X, you’d need to adjust voltage and timings carefully, but results vary. It’s worth exploring if it works for your build, though it’s not guaranteed.

Winning the silicon lottery sounds great, but probably won't happen. Those newer chips are probably limited to meet performance claims. I actually lost mine with a 2700x and even the auto overclock isn't stable.

It all hinges on your CPU's overclocking potential. No matter the gap, the difference won't be significant.

That's frustrating. I thought it might have been something else.
