Do you receive vcore updates during testing? Did you raise the LLC to high? I’m uncertain about the changes I made; I followed a tutorial and can’t locate it anymore. The voltage was set to 1.27, which appears stable, but it reset overnight while downloading a game.

I ran it for 10 hours and got 'hardware error' on one of the cores at the end

Prime sometimes isn't accurate. I experienced a few issues with clean prime for 4 hours. When I begin playing games or open the browser, my PC crashes unexpectedly. It seems prime puts extra strain on the system beyond what users actually do. If you didn't expect this, increasing the number of cores might help.

And include a slight adjustment of 0.002 for the CPU core voltage.

Ilijas Ramic says the prime sometimes isn't right. He experienced crashes when trying to play games or use a browser, even though he increased the number of cores. He set it to 1.26 and then changed it to 1.27 but the problem continued. He wonders if he should try adjusting further.

After I pushed my Phenom II X4 960T to 4 GHz with low stock VCore from 1.272 to 1.332, it worked fine. Then my friend kept saying low VCore was the issue. He said it was stable, played all games, and then the motherboard died. I had to get a replacement because after changing the BIOS, I couldn’t overclock the CPU anymore. Now I need to buy a new motherboard and GPU since I messed up my setup.

Please check if additional vcore is needed for stability.

However be cautious with temperature, i don't like it when my CPU gets too hot. High-end MMO and Intel can handle high temperatures, so it's wise to add more Vcore.

Would it be better to raise the voltage or settle for a steadier performance at a reduced clock speed?
