I just received the new mobo and am ready to replace the old one. The overclocking guide is displaying two BIOS options, but I'm still unsure which one to use. Anyone who has this motherboard and uses a non-K CPU should let me know which BIOS they're running. Thanks!

I didn't know how you managed to get an i5 at all. My friend who got a high-end i5 is still working through it.

JustEthan shared his experience on upgrading an i5 processor, mentioning he used a newer generation and is now considering the 6600k due to recent price drops. He also noted challenges with BIOS issues on the 'F7D' version.

I paid 319 for my 6700k, but my PC store offers a 30-day price match guarantee. Last week I discovered it was as cheap as 269, so I got a $50 discount from their price match. I bought my 6700k for 269, which made me really excited. The 6600k was also under $200 the previous week. Holidays seem to be the best time for this kind of deal.

JustEthan shared his experience about finding a great deal on his PC. He mentioned paying $319 for a 6700k and then discovering a price match offer as low as $269, which he saved $50. He was excited about getting the 6700k for $269 and noted that the 6600k was even cheaper last week. He also pointed out that holidays are ideal for such deals. He recalled how prices used to increase by $100 to $200 per step during his Skylake build, but now they’re around $20 to $50. He praised the 30-day price match policy and shared that saving about $100 on parts he bought recently was a nice bonus. He asked for benchmarks to compare the savings on his rig.

I just built it about three weeks ago. My ITU scores are between 1450 and 1497. My Fire Strike was 18,890 two days back—though I’m not sure if that’s after I updated the latest nvidia driver. The graphics score is 24,634, physics is 13,454, combined is 8,818, and the overall is 18,890. I don’t have any recent Unigine passes; they were a while ago but I’ll check more soon.
