Hello everyone, just starting out with overclocking and I managed to push my 8600k to 5gh at 1.340v. With a liquid cooler, the temps stayed under 73c, and during full load they were in the 60s. Should I reduce the overclock or is it safe?

hello everyone, i'm just starting out with overclocking and managed to get my 8600k up to 5gh at 1.340v. with the liquid cooler nxt x72, my temps stayed around 73c and averaged in the 60s during full load. should i reduce the overclock or is it safe? your temps seem okay. a 5.0 ghz at about 1.3 vcore is normal, so you shouldn't have issues. don't forget to stress test with prime95 version 26.6 and a small fft for a few hours. this will help decide if you need to raise the vcore or lower the speed. otherwise, you're good to proceed!
