Adjusted CPU multiplier in BIOS to 45. This should be a gentle overclock, and the default voltage should be sufficient.

My top hero can run at 1.415v with a 5ghz clock speed. Once it hits that speed, the voltage core will go beyond what the chip can handle. These components heat up fast. The best way to keep things cooler is to do a deli and swap out the thermal paste under the IHS plate.

85C during overclocking is a solid upper limit. You’d prefer to avoid exceeding it if possible.

The cooler includes pre-applied thermal paste, but it appeared completely dry. I didn’t think I added too much; I just used higher quality paste.
