Hello! This is my first time overclocking a CPU with the Z270 itx mobo. I'm a bit nervous because I worry about damaging the board and CPU. What should I do for safe overclocking? Also, sorry for the poor English here. Here are my specs:

I7 6700k
(M9i cooler)
Z270 gaming itx/ac mobo (asrock)
Corsair vengance led DDR4 2x8gb 3000mhz RAM
128gb SSD
1 tb HDD
Evga gtx 680 SC
Corsair vs 650 PSU gold

You'll require an additional CPU cooler and presumably another power supply unit.

mr beanHD :
superninja12 : you'll need a different CPU cooler and another PSU.
defenitely, another PSU is required.
What about this PSU CM G750M (750w)?
No, the issue isn't the insufficient wattage.
It's about the quality.

Just try it out. I found a really good deal on the tt smart 650w and it works perfectly with what I need.
I did some looking into overclocking...lots of info out there.
