Hey guys, I’m asking about optimizing the import and loading of raw clips into Adobe Premiere. Is the process RAM or CPU dependent? With hundreds of 1080P clips each over 200 MB, how can I speed up their startup? I also know rendering is mainly CPU-intensive, and I have an i7-8700K—would overclocking help cut down rendering time?

To improve performance, a quicker disk system and faster CPU are helpful. More RAM is also advantageous.
