I increased my CPU's speed recently and it stopped working, so I reset it to its original settings. After that, my performance in several games dropped significantly. Please assist me!

I recently overclocked my CPU and it stopped working properly, so I reset it back to default. Playing several games now shows a huge drop in FPS! Please help!

What changes did you make to your CPU recently? When I attempted to play several games, my FPS was decreasing significantly. Could you clarify what you were getting for FPS with an overclocked CPU versus a standard one? Also, did you perform any GPU or memory overclocking alongside the CPU?
