I'm curious about the limits of the R5 4500 when pushed with overclocking. Do you have any recommended presets? Enjoy your evening!
Not too far away. It’s essentially a broken Ryzen 5 3600. Better just power it up and call it a day, though it’s way less capable than the newer PBO2. You can’t safely undervolt it much, so if you’re using the stock cooler it’ll probably stay around 90 degrees under load.
I acquired a fresh 280mm AIO cooler that should suffice. I'm aiming for speeds above 5GHz, or even 10,000 points in R23. Updated my setup with AMD Ryzen Master to optimize performance.
It was tough to get anything done with a fully unlocked 5500 on both sides, but definitely push yourself. Honestly, I prefer BIOS overclocking over tweaking Windows tools like Ryzen Master.
I really don’t understand how it functions in Bios, and I don’t want to mess anything up.
