I'm experiencing issues with typing in Safari on my second MacBook 12. The problem started with my older model and now affects the newer 2017 version. It happens more often when you start typing, causing it to overtype until you click to finish. This doesn't occur in other browsers or on the MacBook Pro. It looks like an over-typing issue specific to these MacBook models and Safari. Anyone else noticed this?

Would you like to try a different browser? I don't see any problem there.

The problem lies in the fact that it shouldn't occur. You're similar to the doctor who advises against lifting your arm when it hurts...

You're asking if this behavior is exclusive to Safari and occurs with every keystroke.

I suspected it might be a safari plugin, maybe a background app, or possibly because it wasn't getting a fresh install of the newest macOS. I decided to clean it up and reinstall directly to macOS High Sierra... everything seems fine now... still frustrating not understanding why it keeps happening, but these kinds of problems can always stay mysterious no matter the operating system.

I also saw the same problem on my MacBook Pro from 2015 (13-inch). I could type anywhere without Safari, but the app would freeze for a few seconds before showing the delayed text. Not sure if this matches your experience.
