Is it possible to overclock this i7 6500u which runs at about 2.50ghz, it came with AMD Radeon R7 M440 2GB graphics. The laptop has 8gb of ram and a 2 terabyte hardrive. If it is possible could anyone give me and answer on how to?

There might be options via external tools, though this is not advised. Laptops are built to handle normal temperatures, but using them without proper cooling can cause rapid overheating.

It seems there might be some misunderstandings about overclocking this i7 6500u. The current performance at around 2.50ghz with the Radeon R7 M440 graphics is already quite strong. Changing the voltage or power settings further may not significantly improve it, especially without a budget for hardware upgrades. If you're interested in learning more about the process, I can provide guidance.
