I've been checking the manual for details on the maximum output from the fan headers, but it only mentions 7 PWN 4 port outlets without specifying the peak A value. Can anyone clarify? I want to avoid overloading them since I already have three radiator fans, plus multiple smaller fans in the case. Right now I'm using two Y connectors all feeding into one header. Is this a safe setup?

The general rating for these headers is 1A on most motherboards, with thick traces leading to connectors that can handle up to 2A of current. Most fans typically draw between 0.15 and 0.4A; the exact value should be noted on the label (current or watts), then divide by 12 to get the actual current, allowing you to safely use up to three fans per header.

Thanks for the update, the radiator enthusiasts agree: power usage is 12V DC, 0.32A, 3.84W per unit. It looks like there shouldn’t be any problems with three units in a single header, provided each header can handle up to 1 amp.
