I attempted a CMOS reset which only slightly improved performance by 1-5 frames per second. I brought my machine to a local trade school’s IT class for some hands-on experience; they removed my GPU, swapped it into a system with matching specs, and everything functioned properly. They performed software checks and then reinstalled the GPU, which worked well. They suggested it was probably just a poor fit. I’m puzzled about how this happened since I haven’t removed the card since building the rig.
