Hello,
I’m experiencing a problem where Outlook doesn’t save sent emails correctly into any folder. It’s quite bothersome since I don’t have confirmation that the message was sent.
After checking online and adjusting settings, I noticed something unusual—when replying or creating a new message, the option to save the sent item sometimes fails to appear. This means that about half of new Outlook sessions don’t save it, while the other half uses the default folder. Also, when I choose to use a default folder or another option, I have to repeat the action every time because the previously selected one disappears.
I’d prefer not to reinstall Outlook or repair the whole Office, as that didn’t help. The Inbox repair also didn’t resolve the issue.
Anyone have suggestions on how to make Outlook automatically save sent items in the default folder or another location?

Uncertain about your location and I don't see a "sometimes"...
In Outlook Options, go to Mail, then Change the settings for messages you create and receive.
Scroll down to Save messages.
Are all checkboxes selected? What time is the Automatic Save set?
Verify all other settings to confirm they match your expectations.
When making adjustments, click "OK" to save the changes permanently.

Hi, the first option (3mins) was checked first, along with the fourth and fifth. Of course it was verified at the start.
