Outdated Toshiba device requires reinstallation
I own an old Toshiba Satellite from around the year 2000. It originally came with Windows 7, but a couple of years ago I encountered a hard drive error. I’m thinking about bringing it back to life since the hard drive is now working, but the boot manager isn’t available and I’m not familiar with reinstalling Windows without a CD.
Windows 7 was released in 2009. You can obtain a Windows 7 ISO file from the official site. Load it onto a USB flash drive and install it on your laptop. Restart from the USB and complete the setup process.
It’s unclear exactly which year it is, but the system was running Windows 7 Home Premium, as indicated by the Windows Certificate of Authenticity.
