You're not alone in feeling this way. As you've grown older, skills like those in COD can fade. It's normal to notice a drop in reflexes and precision. Keep practicing, and you'll get back to your former self!

Speed decreases noticeably. Personally, it feels like time is passing slowly. I’m not as focused on regular gaming sessions anymore, which means practice fades away and my abilities drop. I probably struggle in most competitive matches, though I still enjoy playing.

It seems the change should be more apparent between ages 18 and 26. Many will argue they reach their peak around 25.

This is why 12-year-olds excel at COD/s.

I'm not quite sure, but I've struggled a lot throughout my life...

I sometimes respond quickly on instinct, almost like I anticipated it beforehand—gaming intuition, if you want. Yet in reality, my reactions are still slower. I played a community server against a Supreme, and the end-of-match player was a 14-year-old who kept complaining about us. I have other abilities, but my raw reaction times aren’t as sharp anymore.

Reflexes diminish but skill builds. Top CS players reach their 30s yet still impact lives. BibleThump
