I've been through Fallout and finished it with all the factions—Institute, Railroad, Brotherhood. Now I'm stuck with nothing to do. Thinking about what game to try next. The Witcher didn't work for me because the controls felt off; I couldn't adjust them properly. Are there any other games similar to Fallout 4, excluding the other Fallout titles?

Start playing Fallout New Vegas—it's significantly better than Fallout 4. You're likely searching for other open-world titles from Bethesda. Witcher 3 is probably one of the top games I've ever played. If you're having trouble with the controls, it might be your issue. In reality, they're quite straightforward once you get the hang of them. Just give it a try and you'll adapt.

Skyrim? I haven't played Fallout yet, but your description reminds me of Skyrim.

Give Witcher 3 another shot—it's a solid experience. A fresh Vegas setup works just fine, or try a different playstyle in the original game.

If you're using Windows 7, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas might be more enjoyable, while Windows 10 offers better compatibility. Metro Redux and Last Light are great linear post-apocalyptic shooters. Witcher 3 is an open-world RPG, one of the top titles ever made, though it differs from Fallout.

Everything is working well in Vegas. Uncertain about the FO3 situation.

Others have mentioned Skyrim as a solid option, but I’d suggest going with Oblivion instead. It offers a more engaging story and well-developed guilds and factions, making them integral to the experience rather than just optional elements like in Skyrim.

Consider trying Skyrim after its recent release. You purchased it on Steam during the summer sale for just 3€.

However, I completed Fallout 3 on Windows 10 without any issues.
