Looking for reliable controllers that work well across a variety of games. Your current 360 model isn’t compatible with some systems.

I work with an XB360 controller. You're also welcome to use an XBone Controller. Alternatively, a Logitech option is available if you prefer the traditional PlayStation design.

A solid third-party controller option is the Razer Synapse Suite, which works well with various Razer devices. Other reputable choices include Logitech G Hub and SteelSeries Rival Pro. You can explore their official websites for more details and links.

Logitech? I've never played with a gaming controller on my PC before, and I'm not even sure I've ever purchased one!

Logitech produces quality USB controllers, but they're typically not found in the Xbox setup.

The Xbox 360 Controller is widely regarded as an ideal choice for PC gaming. Meanwhile, the Xbox One Controller offers improvements like a built-in 3.5mm audio jack and smoother bumpers. Unfortunately, the updated version lacks its own PC adaptation with a separate adapter. At least according to current information.

The wireless devices don't function no matter how you connect the USB cable, while the wired ones work unless your driver is missing or the hardware is faulty. I tested using a wired Xbox 360 controller for most games, except real-time strategy titles. Third-party options like Logitech perform well in this area and have a solid reputation.
