You own an Apple Airport Extreme and want to refresh it via the Airport app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. They offer typical cable modems, making any router compatible. Just opt for a higher-quality one. Asus, Netgear, Synology (my choice) and TPlink (for a more affordable option) are the best picks.
