Hi everyone, I’m checking if the USB 3 connector pin on my motherboard was damaged during the installation. Would using an ASUS ThunderboltEX 3 work as a replacement for USB 3/Type C ports? Also, does it fit on my ASUS Prime Z390M-Plus board? I have a PCIE card reference link if you need more details: https://www.computersalg.se/i/1941591/as...hunderbolt. It’s the VBUS pin and I’ve misplaced it, so I can’t solder it back. Any suggestions for alternatives would be really helpful! Thanks!

You have a PCIe x1 slot available, and there are many PCIe cards compatible with it.
