yeah I bet. I can't imagine hauling my enthoo pro around, but yolo for everything. Actually no, I wouldn't risk it mostly because of the side-panel window. But I don't play on lans so I don't know what I would do

I suggest xubuntu or mint. Most Debian-based systems work just fine, but some like Ubuntu and Mint (an Ubuntu branch) receive significantly more support. Ubuntu’s help is excellent. Steamos isn’t as thoroughly tested yet. Also, avoid GPUs from Hawaii or Tonga—they have poor driver support based on my experience.

It's just as bulky as the transport method. Use something with wheels—it's much simpler to maneuver. I visit locations 1-3 times a year, which means I've dealt with handling heavy items regularly.

I chose not to use SteamOS because it’s just Ubuntu running inside Steam into Big Picture Mode, which is pretty funny. I thought the Steam interface was only for SteamOS, but lots of surprises there! I’m likely heading toward Linux Mint 17 with Cinnamon.

It seems you're checking a link for Linux compatibility.
The page at https://steamdb.info/linux/ indicates the game is available on Linux.

Avoid relying on Steam OS for productivity—it’s just a modified Debian setup. Steam games should work similarly across different distributions, so you can choose based on ease of use, graphical installer availability, desktop environment, and solid repositories or preinstalled apps. For the most user-friendly experience, stick with Debian or Ubuntu-based options like Linux Mint, Lubuntu, Kubuntu, or Crunchbang.
