This really resonates with me. I'm excited about this direction. I hope the Arena Commander arrives with an opportunity to try out maneuvers and practice skills. I plan to explore the ship sizes while in the cockpit, as spatial awareness is crucial for piloting. The ability to navigate through asteroids, make sharp turns, and fit tight spaces will be essential. While I value this experience, I think others should also get a chance to understand their own vessels.
Can we participate as teams instead of just individuals? I believe group involvement would be much more helpful, especially for formation drills.
I don't know. There is single player for sure but maybe in the v9 or whatever they can add multiplayer free roam
It seems this guideline remains valid. Without Earth's gravity, the inertia force should keep the pilot in the seat during control inputs. I believe CIG will simulate ship behavior with a more constrained turn rate in -g compared to +g.
CR hasn’t confirmed the full value of formations like V or anything similar beyond aesthetics. It might have been a side point. Still, it’s an interesting read.
