Organizador de datos
In the troubleshooting area, many users share similar issues, though identifying connections can be tricky. I need a solution that lets me input system details and problems, then organize them easily—like sorting by graphics card or issue type. I’d like to try this myself first, but have a public version for others who want to explore. My question: which tool fits? Can Excel handle this? Is there an online platform? I’m open to using SQL if it’s too complex, but I prefer something simpler and not server-heavy. If anyone has experience with Excel for this purpose, that would be great!
I believe starting with Google Sheets would be a good idea, since you likely have some experience with it. Would that work for you?
Excel and Sheets serve as similar tools, functioning mainly as table-based applications. You can design the top row for your filters—such as specifications, operating systems, and symptoms—and place the first column with sequential IDs starting from 0001 or a unique identifier like username. Be sure to add a reference to the discussion thread. For future projects, using distinct IDs from the start is advisable. Excel offers superior sorting capabilities. I prefer features that let the program identify headers correctly without treating them as data items. This approach was used recently when comparing personal laptops.
I'll try to use Sheets since anyone can view it, plus I can acess it from any computer Here's a link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing
